Photographer, graphic designer, art director -- William Fridrich has made a career out of telling stories visually and capturing images that reflect the world to us in surprising ways.
He co-founded South Bay Magazine and gave a unique visual style to the regional publication. He designed, photographed and art-directed magazine covers, editorial spreads and advertising assignments.
His photographs have also been published in New West, Los Angeles, Runner's World, Arizona Highways, Running World and other magazines.
As a designer and photo archivist, William chronicled the development of seminal Southern California locations in books such as Old Redondo: A Pictorial History of Redondo Beach, California, Historic Torrance: A Pictorial History of Torrance, California, and Whittier College: The First Century on the Poet Campus.
His work hangs in the private collections of individuals as well as institutions such as Paramount Pictures and American Way Transport.
