Silvia Márquez Pease is the founder and executive creative director at Studio1231. She is a professor of graphic design for social change at the Department of Art and Art History, Florida International University. At 1231, Pease leads a wide variety of strategic projects in sustainable design for Doral Contemporary Museum of Art, story-spaces, Toro, and many others. 1231 studio aims to connect people and ideas in a global community.
Prior to Studio 1231, Silvia was a founder-partner and creative director at Carregal Pease, an international multidisciplinary design firm, and founder and creative director at Pease Design.
