Christian Morrison and Julie Gibb have made a life together collaborating on design, print and video installation projects for 30 years. They began travelling in a 1990 Volkswagen Campervan after selling their home and studio in Toronto in May 2014. These days when they’re not wandering around North America in their 2018 Hymer Campervan they can be found working and dreaming up new creative projects from the second story of an old newspaper building overlooking the Detroit River in Amherstburg, Ontario. Folksblogen is an imprint of Pantry Press.

Our first love was book design for museums and art galleries. We designed and printed bespoke letterpress stationery in Toronto's west end from 1994-2014. We continue to share our travel adventures on our blog, www.folksblogen.com. We were the recipients of the 2016 National Residency Award and the first annual Dawson Bursary at Spark Box Studio in Picton where we mounted a three-night multi-media installation entitled Shangri-La inspired by our 2 years, 80,000 km journey around North America.
