Michele has been a writer and photographer since the tender age of 7. Diving into a multitude of arts and crafts since then, her favorite is still writing, having published several short stories and poems in anthologies and written one chick-lit novel and a reference book.
She has become an accomplished and prolific photo journalist, often traveling solo around the world and across the US to capture local color and classic images of culture and natural beauty.
Other artistic endeavors include creating stained glass windows, mixed media ATCs, mosaic posters, textile arts (quilting, cross stitch, etc.) computer generated collage, assemblage and jewelry making.
Michele also collects miniatures and has a wooden doll house crammed with 1" scale models of everything imaginable, loving called "The Garage Sale House".
She inherited the gift of artistry from her mother, June, and encourages her 3 children to "try new things" whenever they can.
