Kathleen is a recipient of numerous awards. Some of her corporate clients include: E & J Gallo, Eastman Kodak, Hewlett Packard, and various tourism boards worldwide. A few of her advertising clients include: American Airlines, GM, Ford, Toyota, and Honda. She has been a major contributor to Sierra Club Publications and the National Park Service, as well as National Geographic.
Kathleen has completed four books; recently, an award-winning book Spirit of the San Juans. Other books are: Yosemite, Exploring Mountain Highways, Valley of Thunder, and The Million Dollar Highway. Kathleen has become part of the Oral History Project archived and sponsored by Baylor University Oral Institute; an Oral History of women photographers and the American landscape. It is a long-term, multi-platform project investigating how photography/photographers have been used to construct the notion of nature and how new trends in photography have challenged that construction.
