Hamida Khatri is a dynamic and dedicated social justice advocate with a unique and multifaceted background. Currently, she is furthering her academic journey by pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Arts, Technology, & Emerging Communication (ATEC) at the renowned Harry W. Bass Jr. School of Arts, Humanities, & Technology, University of Texas at Dallas. Simultaneously, she’s advancing her skills in emerging technologies by attaining a Professional Certificate in Augmented/Virtual Reality and Computer Graphics from the NYU Tandon School of Engineering. As a PMP® certified Gender-Based Violence Expert, Hamida embodies a rare blend of expertise, including Project Management, Research Development, Strategic Management, Design and Innovation, and Emerging Technologies. This impressive suite of skills allows her to navigate her research interests effectively. Hamida’s scholarly work intriguingly intersects Computational Social Science, Victimology, and Philosophy of Psychiatry.
