Christer Nottberg was born in Stockholm. After completing his matriculation exam at Enskilda Gymnasiet in Stockholm, he continued his studies at the University of Stockholm, where he studied law, economics, and art history. He later trained as an environmental engineer and safety adviser at Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden. He became involved with the chemical companies Rudolph Grave AB and Labassco AB, working as a product and regional manager, and later as an environmental engineer and safety adviser at the chemical group Akzo Nobel AB. Following his involvement in acquisition activities, he became a member of various fraternal and service organisations, including Sällskapet in Stockholm, the Odd Fellow Order, the Swedish-British Society, the International Club of Stockholm, and the Constantinian Order. In these organisations, he has served as a board member, webmaster, and secretary. In addition, he is active as an author and copywriter.
