Born in Rhode Island, AJ and his family moved to Fort McMurray, Alberta as a young boy before moving to London, Ontario during the later part of his formative years. He has lived much of his life within a few hours of Toronto, with all too brief but memorable stopovers in Australia, Hawa’ii and Argentina over the years.
AJ has been a professional photographer since 2007. He has had the privilege to work with such clients as the NHL, NBA, Hockey Canada, Hockey Hall of Fame, Royal Ontario Museum, Pan American Games, and the Canadian Olympic Team.
His images have appeared in publications which include Sports Illustrated, Sportsnet, Macleans, the Hockey News, and the Fourth Period. In recent years he has added writing to accompany his pieces and have been published in Sports Illustrated, Sportsnet and Stand Up Journal.
AJ has had the privilege to work with such not for profits such as Save the Children Canada and buildOn.
AJ currently runs Hogtown Studios out of his home in Toronto.
