(Pamir, A Genuine Place) is a large collection of photos taken during a summer trip in 2018, which tells not so much the chronological history of the trip as, for visual and semantic connections like Arianna's red thread, sensations and growing emotions in coming into contact with those wonderful lands.
We start from the emotion of landscapes, colors and horizons, omnipresent constant for beauty and diversity, the meetings with the inhabitants, living their daily lives and hospitality.
Finally, we discover incredible details and nuances, reflections and lights of subtle air until we understand the essence and simplicity of everyday life, contradictions arrived from the past still present and new fundamental freedoms for the future of the Pamir plateau.
The book contains more than 120 carefully selected photos and short texts of explanations and reflections, printed on glossy photographic paper for an excellent rendering and better depth of b/n. Text also in Italian.
