Acerca del libro
Catalogue for the photography exhibition Lori Kella: Vanishing Shoreline at PhotoCentric. In these fictional photographs Kella reimagines the shoreline of Lake Erie and its tributaries in a visual homage to a horizon that has captivated her for decades. Acerca del creador
Michael Loderstedt
Cleveland, Ohio, USA
Michael Loderstedt’s work incorporates photography, printmaking, artists books and installation. His recent projects have examined the first European landing sites in the New World and “garden cities”; utopian urban communities from the early 20th century in both Europe and the United States. His most recent project, a large-format screenprint that when cut and folded creates a mid-century paper ocean liner complete with text in both German and English describing his own family’s immigrant history. Loderstedt lives with his wife, photographer Lori Kella and their son Ethan in Cleveland, Ohio near the shore of Lake Erie.
