Acerca del libro
Obeah Man Meets Fairmaid
Text by Ovid S. Abrams, Sr.
Artwork by Keisha Damali Abrams aka Damali Abrams the Glitter Priestess
The text in this zine all comes from the book Metegee: The History and Culture of Guyana, published by my father Ovid S. Abrams, Sr. in 1996.
However, the artwork included here is not intended to illustrate the excerpts from my father’s book.
Hearing the history and culture of Guyana from my mother and father throughout my life is a continued inspiration to my work and that is what this zine is intended to illustrate.
