Acerca del libro
"Frankie's Christmas" is the Eighth book in "The Frankie" Series that supports the metabolic disease community. In this book we celebrate Christmas with Frankie and her family in her home town of Malibu, California. From making snowmen both at the beach and in the mountains, to visiting Santa, and enjoying Christmas dinner with family and friends, this book captures the joy through a chid's eyes during this magical season. Our hope with this series is that we can continue to encourage people to spread awareness for the PKU community, and open a conversation to other metabolic diseases in our world.

Kacie lives with her husband Mike, and their daughter Frankie, in Chattanooga, Tennessee. When her daughter was born, she was diagnosed with a rare genetic metabolic disorder called Phenylketonuria, otherwise known as PKU. Kacie creates children books that help to spread awareness, and inspire other families that live with metabolic diseases. She continues to write books about Frankie, as she travels through the world with these dietary restrictions. Kacie's goal is to create a wide range of books that encourage children to live life full of adventure, curiosity, and kindness toward others, no matter what obstacles may stand in their way.
