Acerca del creador
Lorraine Roy
Dundas, Ontario, Canada
Born and raised in rural Southwestern Ontario, Lorraine developed an early appreciation for the land and its natural beauty. Her B.Sc. in Horticulture and subsequent research are ongoing sources of inspiration. Using a unique mixture of techniques like sewing, collage, embroidery and quilting, she integrates thousands of fabric cuttings and threads with fine tulle and machine stitching. Native trees in the Canadian landscape are her greatest inspiration. Lorraine now lives in the beautiful Niagara Escarpment near Dundas, Ontario.
