American Football - The Board Game is an indie game for two players.

Gameplay
so, what makes TBG such a unique game you may ask.

Individual Players!
In TBG you get to actually have each of your players on the field. No football boardgame (that we know of) offers this option. This also means that you get to decide what personnel you bring onto the field, rather than being limited to some default formations. Always wanted to try out that twin-FB idea you have? well, you can do it in TBG. Wanna bring in and extra offensive lineman for your powerrunning? You can do that as well. Most importantly YOU decide what each player does. You Decide how each player moves. It is YOU who is the coach!

Build your own plays!
Another unique thing about TBG is that play markers. These allow you to specify what each player does on a play. By putting down the markers you can make your receivers run any route you want, have your QB make the appropriate reads depending on the routes and basically build any play you can think of.

Trick Plays
Because your opponent cannot see all your markers at the start of the play, he cannot know what your players are going to do. The unique feature allows you to set up trick plays such as play action, draws and screens, without your opponent knowing it immediately.
