It includes poems about time and weather; poems about the news as it floods through our eyes, ears and devices; poems about the devices themselves; poems about yesterday, today and tomorrow (and whatever might become of it).
Acerca del creador
Brian Hill is a poet, writer and designer living in Moray, Scotland. He has been writing in English and Scots since his late teens. Having a few works published along the way, he co-wrote a play ‘Pinkybrae’ in the 1990s, wrote and performed poems on cosmic themes in Aberdeen Planetarium and later collaborated on planetarium productions for Glasgow Space Theatre with artist Gill Russell and cosmologist Francisco Diego. Recent work has been published online in several locations – in the last year on Poetry 24. In 2015, he set himself the task of writing, (illustrating) and blogging one poem a week – a target he has largely managed to meet (if only just). His work covers a wide range of subjects from the natural world to cyberspace, embracing social and environmental issues, conflict and the nature of writing itself. He describes himself as ‘feverishly stringing words together in the hope of making sense’.
