Acerca del libro
This is a hilarious first play by the author. The action takes place on Christmas Day when four generations of a dysfunctional family gather for an evening of traditional festivities. The play revolves round two principal characters: Samuel, an elderly grandfather, who sees himself very much as the patriarch of the family and, as founder of the family's wealth, believes that he can continue to rule the family with an iron fist; and Aaron, a lawyer, who is one of Samuel’s grandsons and who delights at poking fun at the more ridiculous members of his family. Although the antics of Samuel and Aaron throughout the evening are humorous from the onlooker’s perspective, their impact on the family builds until a dramatic climax is reached with unintended consequences.
