Streets 2018 showcases Joachim Haux Instagram portfolio. The photographs are mostly from Sweden and the cities Nybro, Kalmar and Stockholm, but there are also some from Växjö and Göteborg. Quite a few are shot in Croatia - Rijeka, Opatija, Trogir, Split. One picture is from London. Locations are however not disclosed.

Most photos were shot in 2018, some in 2017.

The theme is street photography, with no ambition to interact with the subjects. The ambition is to shoot the moment candid and present it with a caption that shows that there is more to the picture than first meets the eye.

The photographer, Joachim Haux, is based in Nybro, Sweden, and shoots with a Panasonic Lumix GX80 using 20, 12-35 and 75 mm lenses. One of the photos were taken with an iPhone 7.

Joachim Haux

Joachim Haux took his first photographs using his fathers old Yashica in the 1970's. He bought his first own camera, a Nikon F-301 SLR 1989 and has since then been an amateur photographer. Occasionally published, e.g. in the Swedish magazine FOTO (discontinued 2015), Joachim also did the cover for the brochure introducing "Xperimenthuset" in Växjö in the 1990's. Joachim Haux lives in Nybro, Sweden, and shoots with a Sony A7R2 and a Panasonic Lumix GX80, mostly using wide-angle or normal lenses. Joachim Haux showcases photos at Instagram on accounts @photos.by.yocce and @streets.by.yocce. In Swedish "Jocke" is a short form of Joachim. Since "Jocke" usually already is taken as an online username, Joachim created the "Yocce" alias. "Yocce" is a wordplay of "Jocke".
