Ann Quinn
Donegal, Ireland

Born in Donegal in 1978, Ann Quinn completed a BA in Fine Art at the National College of Art & Design, Dublin in 2000. Recent solo shows include Taylor Galleries (2018, 2016, 2013); Dock Arts Centre (2013); and Ashford Gallery (2009). Group shows include the Royal Hibernian Academy Annual Exhibition (each year since 2004); Claremorris Open (2015); Galway Arts Centre (2010); Claremorris Gallery (2017, 2015, 2014); Pallas Contemporary Projects (2017, 2016, 2010, 2009). Some of the awards she has received include the Thomas Dammann Travel Award (2019, 2017, 2015); Travel and Training Award, Arts Council of Ireland, (2016); K & M Evans Award (2012); Hennessy Craig Scholarship (2009); and a Visual Arts Bursary from The Arts Council (2020, 2009). Quinn was awarded fellowships at artist residencies including the Ragdale Foundation, USA (2016); VCCA, USA (2014); Centre d' Art i Natura, Spain (2015, 2010); and Fundación Valparaíso, Spain (2017, 2008).
