Acerca del creador
a Nardone was born in Brooklyn, New York. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Education degree at Pace University and a Master's degree at Long Island University. She is a retired New York City Elementary School teacher. A life-long doll collector, she is a past-president of the National Doll and Toy Collectors Club and a past Region 14 Director of the United Federation of Doll Clubs(UFDC). She has written articles for magazines, presented seminars and lectures on international dolls, including an educational conference at the United Nations focusing on using dolls to teach multiculturism and tolerance. Ms. Nardone received the 1993 New York City Newsday Teacher of the Year award. She was also honored by the UFDC with an Award of Excellence for Educational and Philanthropic Endeavors Through Dolls in 1994. Ms. Nardone now resides in Florida and enjoys continuing her interest in sharing her knowledge about dolls.
