The book includes 180 images of the Greek island Karpathos, located at the S.E. part of the Aegean sea.



I have been on the island for 5 months in total (2007/2008) for taking the photos and it took me two months to select the best and most appropriate photos, for the book.



I did not include any comments and descriptions intentionally, so the images may be printed as large as possible, for the viewer to enjoy. I wanted it to be a photo book and not a story telling tourist guide.



At the same time, I did not include any personal images, so that the book would be as neutral as possible and to portray the true image of the island and not my, or others, personal moments and private stories.



This is not a book about me, neither about my holidays. It is a book about and for KARPATHOS.
