Acerca del libro
In a distant future, humankind’s greatest scientific achievements, and the knowledge that made them possible, have been lost.
The rise of the first Sovereign Ott Dynasty brought with it The Truing, a cultural revolution that sought to rid the world of all advanced technology, returning civilization to a pre-digital, industrial state dependent on the elemental powers of fire, water, and air. What was left in the wake of The Truing was a reality where the only evidence of humankind’s former mastery of time and space was the genetically augmented Sovereign bloodlines, strange artifacts of great and inscrutable power, and unexplained natural phenomena – distant echoes of a race that traveled to the stars, circumnavigated time, and controlled every aspect of their environment.
It is against this backdrop that the story of Polonius Neathergarden and Lady Penelope Genevieve Philpott-Neathergarden unfolds.
Royalty-turned-revolutionaries, Polonius and Lady Penelope steal the Airship Andalusia from the Sovereign Capitol City and escape into the uncharted wilds of the Carthagian Badlands. Pursued by the ruthless Admiral Krane and the forces of the Sovereign Empire, the two adventurers collect a crew misfits, renegades, and outlaws as they search for the enigmatic leader of the Free Peoples Collective, the Spirit Walker.
