Acerca del libro
The bootheel of New Mexico covers approximately 1500 square and is bounded on the south and east by the country of Mexico. With a population density of 1 person/square mile this remote corner of the state is rarely visited by tourists. This volume of images documents some of the landscape and its' features as seen from a weight shift control light sport aircraft flying at altitudes as low as 50'. Low level flying provides a unique view of the high desert landscape few have the opportunity to experience.

Acerca del creador
BAlvarius holds a Sport Pilot Certificate and a CFI and living in the bootheel of New Mexico spends his time flying weight shift control light sport aircraft. He holds a PhD in Biology and worked for the National Institutes of Health before becoming a pilot and flight instructor. Operating out of the San Simon Valley he can be found somewhere above the bootheel because what can be done on the ground is more fun in the air.
