My Appaloosa life began when my six children were old enough to survive without me for a few hours, and i began to ride horses. I became immediately and irreversibly obsessed. I purchased my first Appaloosa simply because of his unique coat pattern. Little did i know there would be many more in my future. Soon riding horses expanded into breeding and selling my weanling foals, and i began to capture the herd in photographs. Many people have viewed my photographs on our Palisades Appaloosas website, and they have suggested for years that i create a book. So... i finally have!
