Acerca del libro
Along Mitcham Road in Tooting, South London there works a cobbler who goes by the name of Kostantino. No ordinary cobbler he. Kostantino does things the old way because that’s the way he wants it. At the age of eighty he isn’t going to change and why should he? His work shop is an Aladdin’s cave brimming with wooden lasts created from client’s feet who knows how many years ago. They are all still there, like names from a novel by Agatha Christie, hanging from every nook and cranny. Names recorded faithfully on the chance their owners will return. Many of them never will. Most are long gone but not Kostantino. He’s going to carry on the way he started, faithful to his craft to the very end. Good health and an even longer life to you Kostantino.
