Acerca del creador
Lurlynn is an accomplished musician, photographer, poet, actress, director, composer, artist, and author. As a music major at BYU, she played the tenor saxophone with the elite jazz band, Synthesis. She plays most woodwind instruments, and taught herself to play the flute. Lurlynn has recorded and performed with Lex de Azavedo in Israel, SL Tabernacle, Albravanel Hall, and in Kurt Bestor Studios. Lurlynn has recorded, directed, and performed as a soloist and instrumentalist in AZ, CA, OR, ID, and NM. Other groups include: The Kaye Starr Singers in Alaska, Israel, and all over UT; Ruth Gatrell Singers, Sanpete Singers, Davis Master’s Choral, Snow College Community Choral, the Olympics Arts Festival Choir; and performed on 14 musical CDs. With Cherokee ancestry, she makes Native American flutes out of wood, and enjoys recording and performing with them in her deer-skin dress. As an elementary school teacher, she provides voice and piano lessons, and continues to write, in her spare time.
