Jayden decides to write himself on an adventure to see all the mythical creatures he never thought he'd get to see. Some of them he has read about in books, but some he has only heard of. This is his chance to learn about these creatures firsthand, to explore the many worlds of mythical creatures. He is limited only by his imagination.

His younger sister Caitlin and his cousin Callum join him on some of his adventures, as he visits fairies, elves and mermaids. Jayden has ultimate control over the story, because he can write what happens next. But will that be enough to keep Jayden and the others safe when they encounter dragons, Bigfoot and the Grim Reaper?
