A book dedicated to my grandparents and the sacrifices they made by leaving their homes and families as teenagers, never to return. Our Wind Star sailing ship cruise gave me the opportunity to visit Croatia, Venice and many Greek ports and get a small glimpse of what life might have been like if my grandparents had never come to America.
