Acerca del libro
SEEN from TRAIN, the book resulting from those trips, is a rare glimpse of an American landscape seldom seen by any other mode of transportation. From the California Zephyr, for instance, because vantage point is elevated, the viewer is provided an almost voyeuristic view of back yards, city streets, small towns, and remote farms and landscapes. In addition, by employing the train’s varied window frames as an adjunct to the composition, and by not worrying about occasional camera shake or always holding the camera level, Minick has masterfully recreated the experience of traveling by train.
