Hardcover - This book is a transcript of William Masters hardy's notebooks in which he wrote down 'a rambling sketch' of his life. It has been lightly edited for punctuation and to give clarity to his notes so that the biographical details can be read in date order. There are his own descriptions of his own work he undertook on the restoration of churches at Wimborne Minster, Worth Matravers, Langton Matravers, Studland, Wareham and Swanage. It is not a complete autobiography, or a biography, but provides an insight into the record he left behind, describing the people and places in his beloved home town of Swanage and the Isle of Purbeck.
