Acerca del libro
‘Figure’ is a derivative of bodybuilding, where female competitors who choose not to gain the heavy muscle mass required of bodybuilding, are able to compete in a body competition.
It’s emphasis is on femininity and athleticism, where symmetry and muscle definition – combined with the female form, are the key criteria for judging.
The competition itself is part posing, part dance routine, but with all of the Spartan dedication required of bodybuilding to tone up and get ripped.. all in a pair of killer heels.
I followed Colleen in the 12 weeks leading up to competition – as she undertook her own personal transformation, and competed in the ANB Asia-Pacific championships, on Australia’s Gold Coast in May 2009.
