All profits from the sale of this book go to http://www.seaofsolidarity.org, a nonprofit dedicated to helping the multitudes of refugees arriving in Lesvos, Greece. This limited edition selection of Jill Mellick's short poems grew over many years.. Soon after holding her first one-person art show, she was moved to write a short poem to accompany each large landsape she exhibited, whether it was in mixed media, pastel, watercolor, or acrylic. The poem accompanied the landscape when it was bought. Wing and Wind contains a selection of eighty of these haiku-inspired poems not previously published.
