Acerca del libro
In the early 90's, inspired by the compelling mystery novels of Tony Hillerman, I was drawn to the high desert of New Mexico. There I found not only a quality of light and clarity that can not be found anywhere else in the world but also a mystical culture and it's ancient architecture that has amazed and inspired artists for decades.
The images in this book, created over a 6 year span, are my attempt to capture the beauty and emotion of this sometimes mysterious land. Once you have experienced the back-roads, pueblos, missions, and the primordial ruins of the high desert and plateaus of New Mexico , your outlook on life will be changed forever.
I hope you enjoy viewing these images as much as I enjoyed creating them.
