2016/2017 My own life is full of generous and loving people. I breathe clean air, eat fresh food, and swim in a crystal clear sea. But I am connected to the larger world, and I am horrified at what I see happening. The veil of ignorance and greed is descending. Scientific evidence is disregarded. Suspicion and mistrust are everywhere. People are divided and set against each other. Whoever has the most wins. The environment is expendable, and it´s every man for himself.
History is full of dark ages and extinctions, and it seems like we are heading back for more. For all of our promise and intelligence, we are a primitive species, who refuse to learn from our own mistakes. Things are getting a bit scary, and a bit hairy.
