Changes made in the 2016 edition book include:
• expanded from 108 to 136 pages
• more wildlife and landscape photographs taken mostly during African safaris
• more species described that are threatened by illegal activities
• updates on recent civil and political issues that undermine wildlife conservation efforts.
All profit from print book sales is forwarded directly from publisher to the Bwindi Community Program, a 501c(3) organization whose "mission is to enable the Bwindi Community of Uganda to break the cycle of poverty through education of its most vulnerable residents, the children."
