Acerca del libro
In April 1990 on assignment, I accompanied a group of American Jewish teenagers, who were part of a 6,000-plus international group of Jewish youth, on the first full March of the Living.
The Soviet armies had just recently left Poland. This was the first large contingent of Jews to return to the sites of former Jewish habitation and to the former ghettos and death camps since the Second World War.
We then went on to Israel. I met my family there for the first time.
My eyes were opened.
This book is a record of the trip, in words and photographs.
