Acerca del libro
These poems tell the story of a young woman coming to terms with love and loss as she struggles to place herself in a world new to her, half a country away and outside the culture in which she was raised.
Images of Nature, beautifully rendered, bridge these worlds as the common element linking present and past helping her make sense of things and find herself and her own voice. Intimate and sometimes raw, the poems unfold like flowers, sharing beauty, sorrow, uncertainty and, ultimately, joy.
The books is the author's first, and marks her debut onto the stage of creative writing.
