Church Street Where Hope Grows is a collection of poetry, prose, and photography that reflects the lives of those who live and serve in the diverse inner-city communities of McCauley and Boyle Street, Edmonton, Alberta. After interviewing approximately seventy people, Patricia turned their stories and thoughts into poetry prose and combined it with the spiritual Christian icons found along 96th Street, now known as Church Street of Edmonton.

Patricia Travers is a Budtender / Shopkeeper living in Edmonton AB. Canada In the mid-2000s she graduated from university with an ABD in Communications & Professional Writing. For her practicum, she created the Travers Publishing House and published her first two books: Amara and Usula's Umbrellas. Next, she would go on to create Church Street...where hope grows. A beautiful photo & poetry book that captures life in the inner city pre-covid time. Patricia is currently working on an upcoming book.
