Don Glover (Donald Mitchell Glover, Jr.) was born May 23, 1930, and raised in Cleveland Ohio. He studied music and aesthetics at college, and moved his young family of four children to Dayton, Ohio in 1963 where he worked at the Dayton Art Institute. In 1970 the family emigrated to Toronto. Within several years he and his wife separated and Don found his way to eastern Ontario where he settled in the Brockville area. In 1991 he married his true and final love, Virginia, who inspired many of his stories. Don died from bladder cancer on February 19, 2015, at age 84.
