These iPhone pictures were taken in San Juan, Puerto Rico hotel casinos, almost exclusively at the slot machines. Photography is not allowed. I quickly moved among five different casinos, spending no more then ten minutes at a clip at any one of them. I was caught and asked to leave two of the casinos about midway through the two- week project. The overwhelming majority of people are woman. Very few men play the slot machines. The table games (craps, roulette, blackjack, and poker) were frequented primarily by men. I did not photograph these games because high security made this impossible or too difficult, at best.
