A visual artist living in San Francisco, California, Leon Sun is writing the story of his family and his memories of growing up in Shanghai (vol. 1). Upcoming volumes 2 and 3 cover his times of adolescence in Hong Kong and adulthood in America, respectively. Sun continues to practice his visual art in the mediums of printmaking, photography, painting and graphic design. Sun was born in China in 1948 and has been a U. S. citizen since 1981.
