This is a photographic record of a visit to California, taking in parts of Los Angeles, San Francisco and Sacramento. Accompanied by my wife, we drove over 21 days into the Mojave Desert, up the east Sierra Nevada and into Yosemite National Park. Travelling some 2000 miles allowed us also to see the spectacular coastal scenery of the Big Sur. Along the way these photographs saw the light of day.
