Acerca del libro
Reflections is a story of love, loneliness and friendship told through delicate compositions of photographs and words.
This is the first collaborative work between So-Jin Holohan, from the U.K, and Ton van Vliet, from the Netherlands. They met, by chance, at a photoshoot for a Dutch gastronomic magazine.
Following email discussions of collaborative ideas, So-Jin received a digital photo sent by Ton. The intriguing composition sparked a short narrative which was sent back to Ton, and to which he responded with a second photo, a few weeks later. Overtime, photographic and written narratives accumulated as stories were being told from both sides, from visual to text to visual and so on. This was the genesis of the experimental collaborative project entitled Reflections.
So-Jin is a secret scribbler by night.
Ton van Vliet is a freelance photographer.
