Alva Bernadine's work is unconventional and the images are saturated with colour and there is often an air of mystery to them. Models pose in provocative or dreamlike settings. Bodies are distorted and shadows on walls become faces. The scenarios are sophisticated but in addition suggest a story, an inconclusive narrative.
