Acerca del libro
When I walk in the woods, collecting or capturing images, I smell the forest, touch and listen to the bark, branches, mosses, leaves and ferns, as the trees sway and creak in the wind. I hear echoes of crows cawing, woodpeckers hammering and dragonfly wings fluttering nearby. It's an experiential place where the mind dreams and the senses awaken, evoking life, metamorphosis and rebirth.
Sometimes, I can feel a presence, as though something or someone is following one's every move—spirits of the forest, entities that inhabit the woods and watch over all living things, ensuring an endless cycle.
Wood nymph is my interpretation, through images and words, of one of the boreal wood spirits. It evokes struggle, transformation and rebirth through a deep longing for change tempered by a strong determination to preserve an existing order.
