Carol Hallock is acclaimed for her use of expression and color. An oil painter, she lives in a house on stilts next to Bayou Lacombe and paints the scenes she sees around her. Often, small paintings are painted from her kayak or boat. She loves to paint egrets as well which are named, "Geraldine". Her work has been recognized since early childhood and has been the subject of magazine covers and articles.
