This is a book of ninety-one color landscape photographs documenting Fogo Island and the surrounding area of northeastern Newfoundland in Canada. The photographs describe a landscape with a rich history dating back several centuries and now occupied by present-day descendants of the Irish fishermen who originally settled the area in the 18th century.
