This book is based on Mei Ling's blog "Little Li Na." The blog chronicled our trip to China to bring Li Na home to San Francisco. While it began as a photo journal of our trip, Gale posted a number of Alistair Cooke style letters from China which served as a running commentary of our day to day observations.



Since blogs are both instant and ephemeral, we decided to preserve the best of the blog. We hope you enjoy.
