In the winter of 2013, we took our first Senior Tours holiday in Spain. We were very enthusiastic about the trip, and we decided to book our second four week Stay - Put holiday from March 5th to April 3rd in 2014. The Costa del Sol is on the southern coast of Spain on the shores of the Mediterranean. Costa del Sol means Coast of the Sun, and it is the name given to the almost 300 kilometers of coastline stretching from Gibraltar in the East to Almunecar in the West. This area boasts 320 days of sunshine every year, enabling the visitors to enjoy miles of sandy beaches in addition to the local colour.
In Torremolinos we stayed for the second time at the Hotel Pez Espada which is located directly on the beach, next to the popular 'La Carihuela' area abundant with shops and restaurants, and within walking distance of the centre of Torremolinos. The Pez Espada is a comfortable and friendly four star hotel. We found it had a perfect combination of relaxed atmosphere and attentive service. We were happy to return to the hotel again, and thought that it had an excellent location for a month long holiday.
