Acerca del libro
Gentle Annie Point is a rocky plateau stretching out into the Tasman Sea half an hour north of the town of Westport on the West Coast of New Zealand’s South Island. Looking north is the jagged coast line of the Grenadier Rocks, looking south the mouth of the Mokihinui River.
The moon is full on December 24, 2007.
Starting at 1 am and ending at 12 pm I take 600 photographs, a 24 minute video take and sound takes from and around the landmark. 24 of the photos are presented in this book.
Gentle Annie Point is part of an ongoing project called PLACES_IN_TIME, in which I explore the relationship between time and place and the experience of transitoriness.
