Acerca del libro
In the winter of 2014, the first graders of Tewksbury Elementary School participated in an artist in residence program with children's book author and illustrator, Dar Hosta James, where they used the same techniques that Dar uses in her books. The children used alliteration and collage to create a series of AMAZING books, and this is one of them!

Dar is a painter of trees and circles, a writer and illustrator of children's picture books, a designer, a teacher of both children and adults, a speaker on creativity and education and a creativity coach. The books here on Blurb represent her work as a certified educator and visiting author and illustrator. During artist-in-residence programs, children work with her to write and illustrate collaborative picture books in the style of her books. They use alliteration and rhyme for the writing and the technique of collage for the illustrations. Information on her educational programs can be found at www.darsworld.com.
